With years of experience as a multi instrumentalist music maker working in an array of genres, I can add the right musical backdrop to your film, exhibition, presentation, or advertisement. Since 1996: Independent music production, DJing and live musician under the artist name Snax with various releases on Four, Get Physical, et al. I’ve collaborated and toured internationally with Jamie Lidell, The Scissor Sisters, Peaches and many others.

Since 1996: Label manager for independent music label Random Records, Berlin/New York City. Random presents digital and physical releases of my own music, my various guises (Tony Amherst, Box Office Poison) and that of my musical friends Mavin, Adam Joseph and Prix.

1996-2002: Commercial Music Production David Barratt, Music, New York City. Clients included Pepsi and H & M.

2000-2008: Band member of electronic music duo Captain Comatose with various releases on Playhouse, Kitsuné, et al. We toured our two album releases extensively through Europe and beyond and were at the forefront of the rock meets disco meets performance movement.

2009: Theatrical composing, sound design, actor ‘Daddy’ at Hebbel Theatre (Hau Drei), Berlin

2014: Sound designer for Travis Jeppesen exhibit ‘16 Sculptures’ at Wilikinson Gallery, London and MOMA New York City

2019: Sonic branding at the Berlin based Startling Brands. Startling offers 360 degree branding solutions for companies. My role is to enhance corporate identities with immersive audio experiences.

2020: ‘Up And Coming Children’ by Snax featured in the independent film Chasing Paper Birds directed by Mariana Jukica

2021: Sync Licensing Composer for Squirky Music Library (UK) and MusicMind (Pasadena, USA)

2022: Music composer for short film ‘Helmut Jahn: In A Flash’ by Nathan Eddy.
