'Snap Out' by Massimiliano Pagliara, feat. Your Truly on Piano

I’m pretty late on posting about this on the blog, but since we‘ve reached almost 100,000 streams on Spotify, I figure now‘s a good a time as any!

Last summer saw the release of my good friend Massimiliano Pagliara’s album See You In Paradise, released by the fine folks at Permanent Vacation. Lead single was the house jam ‘Snap Out’, which it was my delight to play piano and a bit of synths on.

The concept was to create a track reminiscent of classic house bangers from back in the day. Massi already had the kicking bass and drum track sorted when I arrived at his home studio, and since he’s always been a big fan of my keyboard playing, I knew just what to drop into his track to make him squeal!

Since then, the full album has received plenty of accolades, the most impressive being the quarterly award for best Club&Dance album in January of this year by the German Record Critics Association. Well done, Massi!
